Transitional Housing for Men, Women, and Women or Men w/ Children

Starting Over Inc. provides transitional and emergency housing for people who have lost their homes or housing for whatever reason and find it necessary to Start Over.  Our caring staff and volunteers are here to help through these difficult times because most of us have experienced it ourselves and have found that there is life...after homelessness. 

Let us show you the way out.  Our services include emergency and transitional housing; providing personal hygiene supplies and food as needed, resource assistance linked to service providers that help our clients find the road to "Starting Over".  After taking care of the more immediate need of stable housing our house managers and staff are trained to assist in the Starting Over process.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to assist individuals and families by providing Transitional Housing to people that are homeless in Southern California.  Through networking with other agencies and businesses we offer our clients a holistic alternative to homelessness. In addition to providing Transitional Housing our mission is to offer additional social resources in the areas of obtaining legal documents, medical and psychological evaluations, counseling, job preparedness, self help assistance, education and training.

About Our Organization

Since 2004 we have provided emergency and transitional housing and have aided people in their transitions back to an independent lifestyle. Our entire Board is made up of people with a variety of backgrounds who have from five years to a lifetime of experience helping people. It's what we do!  Our clients are those that are too important to write off.  Ex Offenders, Unemployed, Recovering Alcholics and Addicts,Disabled, or just unable to maintain housing for any reason.
